Kristy seems pretty determined not to crawl (sniff sniff). We figured it's because we put her in the walker a bit too much. I think she's closer to walking than crawling..I guess we'll see. She's alot fussier nowadays due to the fact that she can't get around. Here's a video of a recent way she's been using to get around..she doesn't do it all the time as it takes quite a bit of strength..but it's pretty funny. Don't mind our laughing in the background. Too bad I don't have a video of Katie when she first started crawling (with one straight leg)..

Kids Pics

Howdy! I thought I should post some semi-recent photos of the kiddos seeing as they are so cute and all. Here's my sweet pickle-face Kristy who has finally, at 8 months, decided to get on a semi-regular sleeping schedule which is a tremendous blessing to us all . She doesn't sleep through the whole night, but she only wakes up once or twice which is a sweet relief from the previous 3 or 4 times. She's faster with the teeth than Katie was, she has her 2 bottom ones which came out a month or so ago. She shows signs of crawling, though she just won't go for it just yet, which concerns me, as Katie crawled pretty late and pretty weird and her balance right now isn't the greatest. She's been a very happy baby recently and likes to eat almost anything, though I can't say she loves food as much as Katie does. I just had to post these sorta old photos of Kristy and Ian. They r sooo cute!! These are the only photos that I have of these 2 together, and I couldn't decide which one was the cutest, so I decided to post all 4 of them.

And here's sweet Kate who's been talking more recently, though she still doesn't pronounce words properly. Her recent "most favorite things to do" include singing "the Bible" in her incredibly monotone low voice while carrying her bible up high and dancing in a circle while cocking her head side to side, and dancing to "head, shoulder, knees, and toes" whilst singing and doing the motions very passionately and insisting that the little boy (I think it's Joey?) in the Happy English Exercise version is "Datie". She still loves eating and has no problem eating any sort of food that we've ever fed her (besides natto). She's very independent and stubborn. Just wants to do her own thing and wants to do it alone...which is nice in a way as she will play with her toys for hours by herself.

Yes, finally the photos of the poor helpless badger will no longer be the first thing you see on this blog. Did Aiki mention that the poor animal still had the rope tied around in when they let it go? Aaanyways, we moved rooms last month and we are now living in a room around twice the size of our old one. There's so much room I don't know what to do with it! There's even enough space for Kristina to walk around in her walker. So, here's some pictures of our new room in all it's spacious glory.

In other news, we held Otosan's birthday party last week. We had pizza and cake, and Aiki and Stemmie did a skit, and we sang, and we actually took a home photo (minus a few people of course). We also managed to take a decent family photo (whoopie doo! whatta feat)..Kristy was on the verge of falling asleep, which explains her less than enthusiastic face. Nyways, here are the pics!

Here's Stemmie, viciously digging into his pizza.

Here's Kristy in a frumpy dress.

Old Stuff

I figured that since out blog hasn't been updated in a while, I should just go ahead and post something on it. So I pulled out some pics from a couple of years back when we caught this badger. It was pretty awesome. I was out talking with someone and we saw this badger so we chased it into a gutter. From there we somehow got a rope around it and tied it to a tree. The whole time this thing is growling like a bear...pretty awesome. I guess that's why the Japanese call it an "anaguma" which literally means "hole bear". Okay, well, hopefully my wife will get time to post something a little more decent and interesting that might appeal to you who don't really enjoy things like "Man vs Wild" and those "nature" sort of things.
PS...and just to let you (who are a little too into nature and those sort of things) know, we let the badger go after we took the pics.

Number 3...

is on its way! In case you didn`t know already.
Pray for a man child.

For Elena

Check out Kristina trying to steal Kate`s sembe. She loves eating just about as much as Kate does. Right when I stopped taking the video Kate starting whining and saying "no no baby", haha. video

To Daddy:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!! I love you so much! Thanks for being the best daddy in the whole world; I couldn't have wished for a better daddy. I pray for you always and hope that you will have great fun this next year.

Check out my sexy husband

Here are some pics to commemorate Josh's 21st birthday. Some of them are epic...even though they're pretty bad quality. Thanks for being a great friend Josh. And thanks for all the great times we had while you lived here.
For those who don't know Josh, he's pretty lazy (even though he'd probably rather think of himself as laid-back), remembers things really well as long as they are of no importance, reports on you when you're trying to cheat in a test and then laughs at you when you're getting in trouble for it, and overall he's a great guy.
Seriously though, Josh has changed tons and all these different things about him are based on the past...but some of them might still be applicable.
(Note to Josh: I had to crop the pic of you sleeping! Haha.)
