From Aiki

Well, not really from Aiki, but I figured he's gonna be too busy to post pics of what he's been up to, so I thought I would post them for him.
These first pics are from a beach event he went to last Sunday with Steve and a friend of ours. From what I can understand, these surfers come early in the morning, surf, then they clean the beach and get a free barbecue. Anyways, I didn't go, so I don't know too much of what happened, though it seemed to be pretty fun.
It seems there wasn't too many waves that morning, so they did a little sand boarding...
In this first pic, I think Aiki is laughing at the terribly funny way that Steve jumped on his board..

So Aiki decides to show him how its done

And Steve goes for it..
And Aiki moves the board away..haha
Poor Steve...

And here's a classic shot. Apparently, the guys had a little long jump competition going on, and I just had to post this pic of Steve going for it...epic...Surfer and ?...
Stever, teaching Aiki "how it's done"
And here's some photos of the JTB/FDTP team...
Hard at work...

That's a very imaginative story, Mary. It almost sounds like you could've been there!
What was really happening was the men were jumping on their boards and sliding across the water, and seeing who could get to the sand without falling over. Steve failed in every attempt, but it was so funny to watch, and that's why everyone's laughing. Aiki had to hold the board in place because the wind kept blowing it away, and Steve needed a running start. It was a fun day. It looks really overcast because it's like 6:00 in the morning.

Actually Florence, Mary got it right. In that one pic, I am pulling away the board and that's why I'm laughing. But yeah, you are right in that I did hold the board for Steve besides that one time. Anyway, it was an awesome day and it's too bad that it takes forever for us to upload videos on the blog cause there's an epic one of Steve actually running and jumping on the board and flying backwards after going for his (not on purpose) "Titanic" move with both feet planted together on the board with his arms outstretched.

Steve's titanic move was pretty classic. I don't know why Steve is such a freak at everything he does without even trying.
